World Bank

The World Bank Group, the largest and best-known development bank in the world and an observer of the United Nations Development Group, represent a unique global partnership with 189 member countries that comprises five institutions working for sustainable solutions that will reduce poverty while also building shared prosperity in developing countries. Established in 1944 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., the World Bank has already funded over 12,000 projects, and we believe in our delegates to change up the stakes diligently to ensure everyone receives benefits from economic growth. Additionally, it focuses on the improvement of living standards worldwide by providing low-interest loans, interest-free credit, and grants to developing countries for education, health, infrastructure, communications, and so on.

In BBALMUN'24 the Committee, first and foremost, is expected to formulate and reach a collective denouement about several emergency measures to improve crisis management in case of catastrophic events while not turning a blind eye to any and all potential criticisms of the public that could derive from any unwanted or wanted inferences of the set of pronouncements put into action. Furthermore, the delegates will be expected to follow and bid by the limitations as per the first agenda’s resolution, moving on with any further decisions or discussions of any kind. Second, a solemn yet critical discussion, abiding by the aforementioned measures implemented, on the urgent actions the respected delegates and representatives of the World Bank shall take upon the immediate dismission of Russia and Belarus following the Russian invasion of Ukraine will define the essence of our second agenda.
